Hong Kong asset management company VSFG and Value Partners apply for spot Bitcoin ETF
Asset manager VSFG and its partner Value Partners have applied for a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Earlier this week, a report from Bloomberg News said that Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission may allow the creation and redemption of physical Bitcoin ETFs in the second quarter of this year. Hong Kong company Venture Smart Financial Holdings also said it would submit an application for a spot Bitcoin ETF, Bloomberg reported.
