Gala Games announces the destruction of approximately 1 billion GALA tokens
PANews reported on May 23 that the blockchain game Gala Games announced on the X platform that approximately 1 billion GALA tokens have been destroyed.
Previously, Gala Games stated that the stolen funds had been recovered, and the team would use GalaSwap to convert ETH back to GALA. Additionally, a new governance proposal from the Gala community aims to temporarily deploy a GALA token contract upgrade and destroy approximately 5 billion illegal GALA tokens generated from a recent unauthorized minting incident.
