Gary Gensler, the chairman of the US SEC, reiterated that the cryptocurrency market is rife with fraudulent activities. Gensler stated that cryptocurrency exchanges have "serious conflicts of interest" and the cryptocurrency market needs "on-field referees". The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has performed well in cryptocurrency cases in court.
