Tezos: tzBTC 2.0 launched, improved automation of minting and burning

Golden Finance reported that the proof-of-stake blockchain Tezos announced on social platforms that it has launched tzBTC 2.0. It is reported that tzBTC 2.0 is an improved iterative version of tzBTC. A key innovation of tzBTC 2.0 is the use of the Acurast execution environment to automate minting and destruction. The Tezos Foundation will subsidize the fixed annual fee so that Gatekeepers can mint and destroy for free. To address the shortcomings of the original version of tzBTC where minting and destruction were limited to a few large organizations.
