GameStop's shares surged after retail trader Keith Gill, also known as RoaringKitty or DeepFuckingValue, updated on his massive bet on the stock, which is now worth $586 million. Gill announced a YouTube livestream for Friday. The digital asset market was also affected, with Solana-based meme token GME and micro-cap AMC token both jumping over 80%. Gill previously rose to fame during the GameStop short squeeze and sparked a frenzy for memecoins last month.
