Germany's second largest stock exchange, Boerse Stuttgart, will provide ESG data for cryptocurrencies
News on July 8, Germany's second largest securities exchange, Boerse Stuttgart, will expand its market data to include cryptocurrency ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data provided by Crypto Risk Metrics and distribute it through the existing Boerse network. Initially, there will be about 30 types of cryptocurrency ESG data available for acquisition and plans are in place for further expansion. This move aligns with the upcoming EU MiCA (Crypto Asset Market Regulation) regulations that require crypto asset providers to disclose sustainability data. Ethereum received an AA rating while Solana and Cardano were rated A grade. This service will enable banks, brokers and cryptocurrency providers to easily comply with regulatory requirements.
