BitMEX altcoin options trading volume hits record high of $15 million last week
BitMEX released data showing that last week saw the highest volume of altcoin options trading since the launch of BitMEX's options trading. This includes: $5 million in DOGE, $67,000 in SOL, $30,000 in XRP, and $10,000 in BNB. The total nominal value is approximately $15 million. Of these, 47% are bullish and 53% are bearish, with 95% of the options expiring within a week, indicating a strong preference for short-term trading among traders.
