Ordi.io: 100% of Ordinals Inscriptions Stored on Bitcoin Chain, Compared to 99.9% of NFTs Stored Off-Chain on Ether and Solana Chains
In a post on the X platform, Ordi.io said that 100% of Ordinals inscriptions are permanently stored on the Bitcoin chain, compared to 99.9% of NFTs on the Ether and Solana chains, which are stored off-chain.
According to Dune's latest data, the total number of Bitcoin Ordinals minted has now touched 69,321,045, and the cumulative fee revenue from Ordinals minting has reached 6,896.4379 BTC, or roughly $440 million.
