In response to the resignation of Danny Ryan, a core researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik posted on platform X saying: "I am very grateful for your hard work for the Ethereum ecosystem. You are an important force that has brought Ethereum to where it is today. I hope you take pride in helping the world reduce its electricity consumption by 0.23%, and I also hope you get some good rest." Vitalik attached a picture in his reply, with content stating "Ethereum's total power consumption once accounted for 0.23% of the world's total power consumption".
