NYSE Arca Proposes New Rule 8.800-E to Support Listing and Trading of Commodity and Digital Asset-Based Investment Products
On October 30, the New York Stock Exchange Arca (NYSE Arca) filed a proposal to provide listing and trading for investment products based on commodities and digital assets through a new Rule 8.800-E, with the first product being the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund LLC. This initiative would allow securities issued in the form of trusts or limited liability companies, among others, to be listed and traded. securities issued in the form of trusts or limited liability companies covering certain commodities, digital assets and related derivatives, further promoting the placement of digital asset-based ETF products on traditional stock exchanges.
