Bloomberg: Several analysts predict that BTC may break through $100,000 in the short term. The market is currently in a price discovery phase
Bloomberg published an analysis suggesting that Bitcoin climbed 6% on Wednesday, possibly influenced by Paul Atkins potentially becoming the new chairman of the U.S. SEC, reaching as high as $97,361 at one point. Ethereum surged more than 10% during the day. Analysts predict that BTC may break through $100,000 in the short term:
1. Jake Ostrovskis, an over-the-counter trader at Wintermute said: "The market is in a price discovery phase; the decline over the past few days seems to be a healthy correction driven by profit-taking. Traders believe it's very likely that we'll break through the $100,000 level."
2. Nikolay Karpenko, director of B2C2 company pointed out that this week's earlier drop in Bitcoin was tactical and it is very likely to quickly surpass $100,000.
