Data: In the past 90 days, only BERA, BGB and other 17 tokens in the top 100 market value have outperformed BTC

News on March 10, CoinMarketCap market data shows that among the top 100 tokens by market value, only 17 tokens have increased more than BTC in the past 90 days, including BERA (+499%), IP (+81%), BGB (+78%) and so on. Meanwhile, BTC's performance during the same period was -15%.

It is understood that the Altcoin Season Index is a new feature launched by CoinMarketCap to measure the popularity of altcoins. It counts how many tokens in the top 100 assets by market value have outperformed BTC. If this number is around 75, then it's likely an Altcoin Season; if it's below 25, then it's probably a Bitcoin Season. Since February 27th, this index has been below 25 for twelve consecutive days.
