Texas Judge: YouTube blogger Coffeezilla should not avoid the lawsuit filed by internet celebrity Logan Paul regarding CryptoZoo
A local judge in Texas has stated that influential figure Logan Paul should be allowed to continue his lawsuit, accusing a YouTuber named "Coffeezilla" of making defamatory statements about Paul's failed CryptoZoo project. In a report submitted to the San Antonio Federal Court on March 26, Magistrate Judge Henry Bemporad suggested that Federal Judge Orlando Garcia, who is overseeing the case, reject Stephen Findeisen's request to dismiss Paul's lawsuit because Findeisen's claims are more akin to facts rather than "pure opinions". "Bemporad wrote: “At the pleading stage, the plaintiff [Paul] has sufficiently alleged that the disputed speech in this case carries a reasonable defamatory meaning and is not an unactionable opinion."
