ABCDE Capital Halts Investment and Fundraising, Previously Planned to Raise $400 Million Web3 Fund
View original
According to CoinTelegraph, the venture capital firm ABCDE Capital, which focuses on the Web3 sector, has halted new investment and fundraising activities. The firm had previously planned to raise a $400 million fund to support global Web3 startups. Sources indicate that the pause in operations may be related to the current downturn in the crypto market and challenging fundraising environment. Co-founder Du Jun responded on social media, stating that "a quieter market is more suitable for post-investment focus," but did not explicitly deny the suspension rumors. ABCDE had previously invested in high-profile projects like Aptos and Scroll, and this move has attracted industry attention.
