Blockchain identity verification platform 1Kosmos raises $57 million in Series B funding led by Forgepoint Capital and Oquirrh Ventures
ChainCatcher reports that blockchain identity verification platform 1Kosmos has completed a $57 million Series B funding round, led by Forgepoint Capital and Oquirrh Ventures, a subsidiary of Origami. Other participants include Craig Abod, founder and president of Carahsoft, NextEra Energy Ventures, Gula Tech Adventures, and the 1Kosmos management team.
1Kosmos leverages personally identifiable information (PII), encrypting and storing it on a private, permissioned blockchain to help enterprises transform identity verification into a business driver, conducting millions of identity verifications for major banks, telecom operators, technology and service providers, healthcare institutions, and retailers worldwide.
