Texas judge backs influencer Logan Paul in dismissing class action lawsuit over his NFT project CryptoZoo
According to a report by Cointelegraph, a Texas district court judge has recommended supporting influencer Logan Paul's motion to dismiss the class action lawsuit against his NFT project, Crypto Zoo. Judge Ronald Griffin stated that the plaintiffs failed to sufficiently demonstrate a connection between Paul and their financial losses. Judge Griffin suggested allowing the plaintiffs to amend all 27 claims except for the commodity pool fraud allegation. The class action lawsuit was filed in February 2023, accusing CryptoZoo of being a "rug pull" that failed to deliver on its promises.
