Trump said he already has a general idea of who to choose as the Federal Reserve Chair, and Hassett is one of the three possible candidates. However, he refused to confirm whether he would select Hassett as the Federal Reserve Chair.

Trump said that Treasury Secretary Bessent was the fourth candidate for the Federal Reserve Chair, and now there are three remaining. Walsh and Waller are the other potential candidates.
