OVERTAKE Marketplace Officially Launched, Bringing Four Major Updates
Comprehensively revamped user experience and interface (UX/UI), added support for Path of Exile 1, Last Epoch, and MapleLand, introduced the seller store "TakeShop," expanded to non-gaming categories, and now supports credit card cash payments.
OVERTAKE, a P2P trading platform based on the Sui chain, announced the official launch of its marketplace. The new version adds support for three popular games—Path of Exile 1, Last Epoch, and MapleLand. In addition, the platform has launched a customizable seller store called "TakeShop," allowing influential users to design and share their own storefronts, with corresponding updates to the overall user experience and interface (UX/UI). The marketplace aims to expand from the gaming sector to multiple categories such as digital/physical goods, content/services, and now supports credit card cash payments to further lower the entry barrier for Web2 users.
With TakeShop, users can quickly create "My Store" and start selling immediately by simply sharing a link. Sellers can freely set up store design, display style, and promotional activities, and can automatically share rewards for traffic brought in by their communities—such as friends, fans, and guild members. OVERTAKE provides customized escrow transaction templates according to the characteristics of each category to reduce disputes and maintains an immediate settlement mechanism upon transaction completion.
Its core operating principles remain unchanged. Transactions are secured through 2/3 multi-signature smart contracts and the existing low-fee policy is maintained. Upon completion, transactions are settled instantly in USDC. At the same time, Web2.5 experiences such as social account login and gas fee sponsorship ensure a smooth process from user onboarding to payment completion.
Recently, OVERTAKE's token TAKE has been listed on global and major regional exchanges, achieving positive initial results. Following the simultaneous launch, its liquidity and trading participation have grown rapidly, and the foundation for token distribution within the community has become more solid. With the official launch of the marketplace and the comprehensive distribution of the token proceeding in tandem, the incentive pool for seller rewards and promotions is expected to further expand, thereby strengthening the virtuous cycle and growth of the entire ecosystem.
OVERTAKE CEO Seunghwan Oh stated: "The official launch of this marketplace marks our transition from a 'marketplace that protects transactions' to a new stage led by sellers, offering a complete experience and growing together with the community. By adding support for Path of Exile, Last Epoch, and MapleLand, expanding to categories beyond gaming, and enabling credit card payments, Web2 users can now easily participate. Building on our advantages in escrow transactions, low fees, and instant settlement, combined with the newly launched TakeShop feature, we are committed to creating a larger and healthier marketplace."
