The company expects to open an office in Japan's capital later this year and is exploring opportunities to tailor products for potential Japanese investors and borrowers. As part of a broader expansion plan in recent years, Sona has hired Suzutaro Kuroyanagi and Mark Tanase to lead its business in Japan.
