Aave suspends rsETH reserve operations on Ethereum, Arbitrum and other networks to prevent escalation of liquidation risk

Odaily reported that Aave has published the latest updates regarding the rsETH security incident on the X platform. Aave has suspended rsETH reserve-related operations on the Ethereum mainnet and networks including Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea to prevent excess aETHrsETH withdrawals that could push positions closer to the 95% liquidation threshold. This measure aims to preserve as much capital as possible and reduce systemic risk during the asset recovery process. Aave stated that subsequent progress and handling plans will continue to be disclosed to the community.
