BlockBeats News, May 4th. This morning, Bitcoin surged, reclaiming the $80,000 mark for the first time in 3 months. In just 1 hour, it rose by 1.56%. As a result, nearly $106 million was liquidated across the entire network in less than an hour.
Of this amount, short positions accounted for $104 million. The largest single liquidation occurred on an exchange's Ethereum contract, with a liquidation value of $11.7717 million.
