Vanar migrates to Base, VANRY's total supply will increase from 2.4 billion to 10 billion
Odaily reports that the AI infrastructure project Vanar has announced its migration to the Base network, with the positioning of the VANRY token shifting from supporting blockchain infrastructure to facilitating and incentivizing the AI Organizations ecosystem.
Vanar stated it is building an AI Organization economic system, enabling functions such as product development, service delivery, order processing, USDC settlement, and reputation recording through organization-level AI agents. The team believes that the core bottleneck for future AI development will shift from model capabilities to identity, trust, memory, and organizational structure.
Regarding the token migration, existing VANRY holders will migrate at a 1:1 ratio, with their holdings remaining unchanged. However, the total supply will increase from 2.4 billion to 10 billion to support incentives for the AI Organizations ecosystem, developers, partners, and infrastructure construction.
The official statement says that after the migration, 62% of the total supply will remain locked in the initial phase, and newly allocated tokens will utilize a lock-up and 60-month linear release mechanism, with a complete release cycle expected to be 5 years.
In addition, Vanar will end its validator node staking mechanism on Vanarchain and integrate its infrastructure into the Base network. The team plans to launch the Vanar Genesis event on August 3, with the first batch of AI Organizations going live and a reward pool of 100 million VANRY established to incentivize outstanding ecosystem projects.
