In Trading, what do STOP LOSS (SL) and TAKE PROFIT (TP) mean: Stop loss (SL): It is where we exit the market if the price falls from where we bought. In fact, the meaning of stop loss is: Any time the price comes (Down or Up) the reason (Set-up) that made you enter the market is broken. Example of STOP LOSS In Technical chart patterns: let's say you entered the market (Trade), because you saw the market forming an "Ascending Triangle".
