Bitget Wraps Up International Women's Day Campaign Celebrating Women Shaping Web3

Victoria, Seychelles, March 11, 2026 — Bitget , the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), wrapped up its International Women's Day campaign with a week of conversations, community events, and industry reflection centered on a simple but powerful theme; challenging bias and opening the door wider for women in Web3.
Running across online platforms and seven global regions, the campaign carried a consistent message. The future of blockchain will be shaped by those who show up, speak up, and build together.
The week began with Bitget's Crypto Anti-Bias Pledge , which asked the industry to confront a question many have quietly avoided: how can crypto reach mass adoption if half the population remains underrepresented? The pledge quickly gained traction across the community, with more than 1,500 people sharing personal commitments to challenge bias in their workplaces, projects and daily interactions.
The campaign also invited reflection on the women already shaping the industry. Over 600 participants shared stories of women in crypto whose work had inspired them, highlighting contributions across trading, engineering, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen helped set the tone for the week with a video message addressing the bias women in leadership often face online. By responding directly to negative comments she had received, Gracy turned a familiar challenge into a broader conversation about visibility, resilience, and leadership in Web3. "Web3 moves fast, and it rewards people who are curious enough to try and brave enough to keep learning," said Gracy. "I hope more women see this space and realize there's a place for them here. Not just because someone invited them, but because they belong."
Beyond social media, the campaign came to life through "Lady Forward" events hosted across seven regions, bringing together more than 500 participants for discussions, workshops, and networking sessions focused on leadership, finance, and technology.

Some moments were intentionally playful. At interactive installations, attendees crossed out outdated financial stereotypes using Bitget’s custom "Lady Forward" lipsticks, turning a symbolic gesture into a collective statement about rewriting narratives in the industry.
Panel discussions, street interviews, mini-conferences, and community gatherings organized alongside institutional partners and local Web3 groups expanded the conversation beyond conference halls, inviting a wider audience to reflect on how the industry can become more accessible to future builders.
The campaign forms part of Bitget’s ongoing Blockchain4Her initiative, which works to expand women's participation across the blockchain ecosystem through education, mentorship, and community engagement.
As the Web3 ecosystem continues to evolve, Bitget sees initiatives like Blockchain4Her not as side conversations, but as part of the broader effort to ensure the next generation of financial infrastructure reflects the diversity of the global community building it.
