Stacks resumes block production and recommends miners and signers to upgrade to v3.1.0.0.11
after fixing a long-standing bug in the synchronization logic of the stacks-node memory pool, the Bitcoin Layer 2 project Stacks has resumed block production and recommends miners and signers to upgrade to v3.1.0.0.11. Stacks reminds that until all miners complete the upgrade, performance may occasionally decrease, and urges to adopt the solution as soon as possible to stabilize block production, with more fixes to follow. It is reported that the vulnerability can be traced back to 2020, but developers reveal that the issue only surfaced due to an increase in data load.
