Gitcoin: Users holding funds on PGN must withdraw them before April 20
Foresight News reports that Gitcoin has posted on Twitter stating that if users still hold funds on the Public Goods Network (PGN), they must withdraw them by April 20 at 21:00 (UTC+8). Following the governance vote earlier this year (to transfer the remaining fees in PGN back to the Gitcoin Foundation treasury), any unclaimed funds will be extracted to the Gitcoin Foundation treasury.
Foresight News notes that PGN will cease operations in October 2024. To allow users to safely retrieve their assets, the official team has retained and modified the bridge escrow function, and also deployed the BalanceClaimer contract. This contract enables users to claim their funds left on PGN directly to their Ethereum mainnet address, even after PGN is completely shut down.
