Aztec Network Alpha version officially goes live, enabling privacy for all accounts, transactions, and executions.
Foresight News reports that the Alpha version of the zero-knowledge privacy technology project Aztec Network has officially launched. It features a complete execution environment, enabling full privacy for all accounts, transactions, and execution processes. This version supports three major privacy functions: data privacy (supporting private transactions, RWA, payments, stablecoins, and other scenarios), identity privacy (supporting accounts that connect real-world identities privately to meet institutional compliance and selective disclosure requirements), and computation privacy (supporting private finance, gaming, and other applications).
Developers can write smart contracts using the Noir language and mark functions as private or public with Aztec.nr. Users execute private logic locally and generate ZK proofs. The sequencer only verifies the proof without viewing the data, and batch settlement occurs on Ethereum L1 approximately every 12 seconds.
