Mastercard VP: Stablecoins Can Address Inefficiencies in Real-Time Payments of Traditional Financial Systems
On April 16, Mastercard Senior Vice President Christian Lau stated that stablecoins have 'consolidated their key position in the digital asset ecosystem.' He also added that stablecoins can address the inefficiencies in real-time payments that traditional financial systems are still struggling to resolve.
