EtherFi has proposed deploying a dedicated Aave V4 instance on the OP mainnet to support EtherFi Cash. This proposal includes $175 million in initial funding, GHO integration, and a 20% revenue share payment to Aave DAO. Aave founder Stani stated that EtherFi is committed to building reliable end-user products. According to the proposal, Aave V4 will replace the existing technology, providing EtherFi users with more flexible and large-scale direct lending services, with the infrastructure owned and managed by EtherFi.
