YGG Play releases shutdown guidelines, advises users to complete YGG unstaking and in-game points redemption by July 31
Foresight News reports that YGG's Web3 gaming division, YGG Play, has released a shutdown guide, announcing the closure schedule and user instructions. According to the announcement, starting July 9 at 3:00 PM (UTC+8), purchase functions for “LOL Land” and “Waifu Sweeper” as well as the entire platform’s mission system will cease operations. July 31 will be the last day of platform support, after which the main site (yggplay.fun), Launchpad (app.yggplay.fun), and community mission site (community.yggplay.fun) will all be shut down.
The announcement recommends that users complete YGG un-staking and in-game points redemption before July 31. Compliance balances that are not processed by the deadline will be automatically settled and distributed to associated wallets based on a snapshot taken on the cutoff date, but the platform will no longer provide manual support for related issues.
The games “GIGACHADBAT” and “Ragnarok Breaker” will be operated by the Delabs team and Planetarium Labs, respectively, starting August 1 and will remain playable, with a new token redemption process launching. In addition, the previously scheduled YGG Play Summit for 2026 has been cancelled.
