Futures private elite portfolios now support API key creation

We're excited to announce that futures private elite portfolios now support the creation of copy-trading API keys. Traders can integrate quantitative strategies or automated trading signals straight into their elite trading account, and copiers' positions will mirror automatically, with no manual action required. This feature is now available on both the app and website.

What's changing

API support for futures private elite portfolios

An API settings button has been added to the quick access zone on the Futures (private) tab in the Elite Trader Center. Traders can create, view, and manage elite trading API keys. The features and experience are fully consistent with the existing API features for futures public portfolios.

Uniform security and trading limits	Restriction items description
Maximum number of keys	Up to two API keys can be created for each elite portfolio.
Trading scope	The API key is only valid for specified futures trading pairs under this elite trader account and cannot be used for spot trading.
Security cleanup	After a portfolio is closed, the corresponding API keys will be deleted to ensure account security.

Reason for update

Futures private elite portfolios primarily serve high-net-worth and professional traders, who have stronger needs for quantitative strategy and automated trading integration. This update brings private portfolios in line with the features already available for public portfolios, giving traders a consistent API-powered automated trading experience, whether they accept copiers publicly or run an invitation-based private community.

How to get started

On the app: Go to the Futures (private) tab in Elite Trader Center, tap API Settings, and follow the instructions to create an API key.
On the website: Go to API Keys from your account's Profile, switch to the elite trading account, select Elite API Key, and choose a portfolio to create the key.
