PEPE Surges as Whale Activity and Retail Demand Spark Fresh Bullish Momentum

  • Whale accumulation strengthens PEPE’s rally, with exchange supply falling and large-holder demand increasing.
  • Retail speculation rises, pushing PEPE futures Open Interest to a three-month high of $250 million.
  • Bullish momentum targets $0.00000363, with a breakout potentially opening the path toward $0.00000459.

PepeCoin — PEPE, has captured fresh market attention after a powerful weekly rally. The meme coin has gained about 25% this week. Large holders have also shown stronger interest during the recovery. Whale activity increased as PEPE supply moved away from exchanges. Retail traders have joined the move through growing futures positions. PEPE Open Interest reached a three-month high of $250 million. Together, these signals point toward stronger demand and improving market confidence.

Whale Activity and Retail Demand Strengthen PEPE’s Rally

PEPE gained roughly 11% during each of two consecutive sessions. The strong advance helped the meme coin recover from recent weakness. Large-wallet activity also increased alongside the price recovery. Santiment recorded seven transactions worth more than $1 million on Thursday. That marked the highest daily total since March 16. The increase suggests renewed interest from major PEPE holders. Large transactions can influence liquidity and short-term market sentiment.

Exchange supply offers another encouraging signal for PEPE bulls. Exchange-held supply has dropped to 81.30 trillion PEPE. The figure stood at 82.75 trillion tokens on August 12. The decline suggests fewer tokens remain immediately available for selling. At the same time, top non-exchange addresses now hold 84.04 trillion PEPE. Those addresses held 80.50 trillion tokens on August 12. The increase points toward fresh accumulation among large-wallet investors.

Reduced exchange supply could also limit selling pressure during another buying wave. Whale accumulation near market lows often attracts attention from traders. Large holders can build positions before broader market participation increases. PEPE now shows signs of such a pattern after recent weakness. The rising concentration among top addresses strengthens the accumulation argument. However, traders still need confirmation from price action and volume.

PEPE Targets Higher Resistance as Momentum Improves

PEPE currently maintains a bullish near-term technical structure. The token has gained roughly 22% across the latest two sessions. The rally pushed the price above the 50-day EMA near $0.00000283. PEPE also moved above the 100-day EMA near $0.00000300. The token then cleared the June 15 high near $0.00000314.

That breakout gives buyers another technical advantage. Price now faces a more important challenge around the 200-day EMA. The 200-day EMA currently sits near $0.00000363. This level represents the next major technical hurdle for PEPE. A confirmed breakout above that resistance could strengthen bullish momentum.

Buyers could then target the May 10 high near $0.00000459. Such a move would represent another significant advance from current levels. However, PEPE needs sustained demand to maintain the upward structure. Traders will likely monitor volume and whale activity during the next breakout attempt.
