Northern Trust, CSC Sign MoU on Digital Investment Infrastructure

04:37 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Northern Trust (NTRS) and Commonwealth Superannuation have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore digital investment infrastructure and institutional adoption of tokenized finance, the companies said Thursday. The collaboration will focus on tokenization, digital assets and digital cash capabilities, including potential applications for liquidity management, settlement efficiency and interoperability between traditional financial infrastructure and digital asset systems, according to the companies. Northern Trust and CSC also plan to establish a framework for sharing insights on developments in digital financial markets, they said.
