Sinclair Says IATSE Local 600 Ends Representation at KOMO/KUNS

10:22 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sinclair (SBGI) said Thursday that International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 600 has voluntarily disclaimed interest in continuing to represent news photojournalists at the company's KOMO/KUNS stations in Seattle. The decision follows an employee-initiated decertification petition and vote on continued IATSE representation, Sinclair said. As a result, IATSE Local 600 will no longer serve as the bargaining representative for the group of employees, the company added. Sinclair shares were down 2.6% in Thursday trading.
