RTX's Raytheon Completes Expansion of Mississippi Plant With $50 Million Investment

02:08 PM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Raytheon has completed a 17,000-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing facility in Forest, Mississippi, backed by a $50 million investment, the company said Thursday. The project will increase production capacity for electronic warfare and radar systems and add 100 jobs by 2028, the company said. The site now spans 445,000 square feet and will serve as a hub for Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band pods and airborne radar programs, the company added.
