The latest data released by the Argentine government shows that Argentina's daily oil production in July exceeded 916,000 barrels, a year-on-year increase of 17.2%, setting a new historical record. The data indicates that the Vaca Muerta oil field is the main factor driving the growth of Argentina’s oil and natural gas production and oil exports. In July, the daily oil production of the Vaca Muerta oil field exceeded 643,000 barrels, a year-on-year increase of 26.4%; daily natural gas production reached 96.5 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%. Located in the Neuquén Province of Argentina, the Vaca Muerta oil field is rich in shale oil and shale gas and is an important oil and gas resource area in the country.
