BW LPG Issuing $300 Million of Convertible Bonds; Shares Down Pre-Bell

05:42 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BW LPG (BWLP) is issuing $300 million of 2.25% senior unsecured convertible bonds due 2031, the company said Wednesday. BW expects bond settlement by Sept. 9 and plans to use the net proceeds to partly finance a newbuild program with Hyundai Heavy Industries for eight Panamax very large gas carriers and for general corporate purposes. The company's shares were down 5.2% in premarket activity.
