Climb Bio Reports Early Phase 1 Data for IgA Nephropathy Drug

07:54 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Climb Bio (CLYM) said Thursday its phase 1 trial data for its experimental antibody treatment CLYM116 demonstrated a 29-day half-life that supports dosing every 12 weeks for patients with IgA nephropathy. A single 320-milligram dose achieved nearly complete protein suppression and lowered specific antibody levels by 60% to 75% over a 12-week period, the company said. The kidney disease drug candidate was generally well-tolerated without any serious adverse events or dose-limiting toxicities, it said. The company plans to release initial findings from an ongoing phase 2 trial during H1 of 2027, and to start a phase 3 study in 2027, Climb Bio said. Shares of the company were up 7% in Thursday premarket activity.
