Reuters2026/09/08 10:04- Ecopetrol bondholders backed a planned absorption merger with Parque Solar Portón del Sol at second-call meetings on Sept. 4, 2026.
- Holders of the 2010 domestic public debt bonds supported the deal, with 79.16% quorum; merger vote ran 94.65% in favor.
- Bondholders of the 2013 domestic public debt bonds also cleared the merger, with 79.95% quorum; the merger vote was 100% in favor.
- The bondholder approvals do not change the economic or financial terms of Ecopetrol’s outstanding ordinary bond issuances.
