04:20 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) said Sunday a Phase 3 trial of its lung cancer drug Rybrevant combined with chemotherapy resulted in a median overall survival of 34.3 months. The treatment combination extended patient survival by more than six months compared to the 27.9-month median observed in the standalone chemotherapy group, the company said. An analysis adjusting for trial participants who switched to the experimental therapy after their disease progressed demonstrated a 43% lower risk of death, it said. The most common side effects from the treatment included paronychia, neutropenia, and rash, Johnson & Johnson said. Shares of the company were up over 1% in Monday premarket activity.
