Nvidia launches dual-layer AI security system to prevent unauthorized agent access

Nvidia (NVDA.US) has launched a new dual-layer artificial intelligence security system. The company stated that this system can prevent the recent high-profile security breach at Hugging Face caused by the OpenAI artificial intelligence model. Nvidia is rolling out two open-source software security tools that can run on its hardware, aiming to control in real time the content that AI agents can access and shut them down when they violate rules. Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI at Nvidia, said on Monday that if leading artificial intelligence labs had adopted this technology early when evaluating AI models, the Hugging Face attack might have been avoided. He said, "Based on the information we currently have, this new security platform could have prevented this breach."
