Textron Aviation Delivers Cessna SkyCourier to Paraguayan Air Force

09:24 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Textron (TXT) unit Textron Aviation said Wednesday that the Paraguayan Air Force has become the first South American military operator of the Cessna SkyCourier turboprop. The aircraft, funded by Itaipu Binacional, which is a binational entity run the Brazilian and Paraguayan governments, will support Paraguay's multi-mission operations, including medical evacuations, patient transport and disaster relief, the company said. Textron said the SkyCourier's payload capacity, single-pilot operation and cost-efficient maintenance make it well suited for missions in remote and challenging environments.
