PEPE Nears a Critical Level as Bearish Pressure Continues to Build

  • PEPE trades below key averages, with sellers maintaining short-term market control.
  • Technical indicators remain bearish despite oversold conditions and possible seller exhaustion.
  • A break below $0.000003732 could trigger further downside pressure.

PEPE traders are approaching an important moment as bearish momentum continues to weigh on price action. Recent technical signals show sellers remain firmly in control, even as some indicators suggest the market may be reaching oversold conditions. A key support area now sits under close watch, with traders looking for clues about the next major move. Whether PEPE stabilizes or extends losses could depend on how price reacts around current levels.

Sellers Maintain Control as Resistance Holds Firm

Current chart conditions favor bears. PEPE trades below both the 20-period and 50-period moving averages, which sit near $0.000004167 and $0.000004124. These levels continue to act as barriers for any recovery attempt. Another challenge comes from the Ichimoku Kijun level around $0.000004155. Price remains below this resistance zone, limiting upside momentum. Until buyers reclaim this area, sellers are likely to maintain the upper hand.

Several momentum indicators support the bearish outlook. The MACD continues signaling downside pressure, while the ADX points to a trend that remains active. Together, these indicators suggest that sellers still control market direction. The Relative Strength Index currently stands near 35.43. Although the reading approaches oversold territory, buyers have not shown enough strength to trigger a sustained rebound.

Other indicators tell a similar story. The Stochastic RSI and Commodity Channel Index remain deeply oversold, highlighting seller exhaustion but not confirming a reversal. Bull and Bear Power readings also favor the bears. Meanwhile, the Awesome Oscillator continues aligning with downward momentum. These signals reinforce the cautious outlook surrounding PEPE.

Sideways Trading Remains the Most Likely Scenario

Despite ongoing weakness, PEPE continues holding above the daily 200-period moving average near $0.000003389. This support level remains a critical area for traders. Analysts expect the price to trade within a range between $0.000003732 and $0.000004068 in the near term. Such movement would reflect consolidation rather than a strong directional trend. As long as resistance remains intact, upside attempts may struggle to gain traction.

A break above the Ichimoku resistance area would improve the outlook and potentially attract fresh buying interest. However, current technical conditions do not strongly support that outcome. The greater risk remains on the downside. If PEPE falls below $0.000003732, bearish momentum could accelerate and open the door to deeper losses. Recent market behavior already shows sellers dominating trading activity.

For now, the most likely outcome involves sideways movement within the established range. Traders should closely monitor support levels, as a decisive breakdown could shape the next phase of PEPE’s price action. Buyers need a clear recovery above resistance before sentiment can shift in a more bullish direction.

Hedge funds cleared out their AI positions accumulated over the past two years within five trading days. According to Goldman Sachs Prime data, from October 8 to 14, the net selling scale of global AI stocks reached the second highest level in a year, with South Korea triggering a circuit breaker and foreign capital outflows from the Taiwan market hitting a single-day historical record. However, over a three-year period, net AI exposure still sits at the 83rd percentile, and total leverage is close to a five-year peak—this sell-off seems more like a beginning than an end.

Bridgewater on Rising Interest Rates: Not Just Due to Oil Prices, but a Supply-Driven Repricing of Capital Markets

The latest report from Bridgewater reveals that the record-high global bond yields cannot be explained by energy shocks alone. Expanding AI capital expenditures, elevated government spending, and continued central bank balance sheet reduction are jointly driving net asset supply toward its highest level in nearly half a century. The rising cost of capital is quietly spreading to the stock market. Once a chain reaction is triggered, both corporate investment and consumer spending—the two pillars of the US economy—could collapse simultaneously. With the current fiscal deficit already exhausted during prosperous times, the government will have virtually no options left when the crisis hits.
