PEPE Support Faces a Critical Technical Test

PEPE Support Faces a Critical Technical Test

  • PEPE is testing multi-month ascending support, with a decisive breakdown potentially exposing the token to additional selling pressure.
  • The 4-hour Stochastic RSI is in oversold territory and the weekly indicator is in oversold territory with high momentum from the recent recovery.
  • Descending resistance continues to constrain PEPE, leaving confirmation of a sustained bullish reversal dependent on price action around support.

Multi-month support nears a turning point for PEPE, a pivotal moment in its technical journey. It may make the difference between recovery by the buyer or further correction by the seller.

Multi-Month Support Becomes the Central Battleground

PEPE as of writing  trades near $0.00003861 in the referenced technical analysis. An ascending green trendline connects previous lows established during the summer recovery. Price has been erratic in its elevation, and is now moving toward this line.

The trendline is an area where buyers took selling pressure in the past. If demand does not keep up with supply, however, repeated testing can undermine support. A sustained defense would preserve the existing recovery structure without guaranteeing another rally.

Above the current price, descending trendlines continue restricting upward movement. These barriers connect lower highs formed during previous recovery attempts. Consequently, PEPE must overcome overhead resistance before establishing a more convincing bullish structure.

Momentum Indicators Present Conflicting Signals

The four hour Stochastic RSI indicator is trading around 7.79 and 21.39. These levels reflect poor short term momentum and the indicator is getting close to oversold. But such readings can’t say for certain that selling pressure is at its peak.

Any rally off of the higher level of support may ignite buying momentum again. However, traders would have to wait for stronger price action to confirm a recovery. Failure to attract buyers could leave PEPE vulnerable to another downward move.

The weekly chart provides a broader perspective on the token’s corrective structure. PEPE had significant gains in 2024, such as the fifth-wave peak. Rallies in the week since then failed to form a reversal of the overall downward movement.

The shorter time frame of weekly momentum shows a different picture. Stochastic RSI readings are close to 93.20 and 92.80, suggesting high momentum. Continued strength is possible with these readings, but a pullback is a possibility.

Breakout Confirmation Remains Essential

The weekly chart has a descending green trendline that is connecting lower highs. Meanwhile, a shorter descending black trendline guides the compressed pattern close to lower prices. Together, these boundaries frame the technical uncertainty surrounding PEPE’s next directional move.

The chart also presents an Elliott Wave interpretation suggesting a possible corrective wave C completion. That scenario anticipates a potential low before another recovery develops. However, wave counts remain interpretive and require confirmation from subsequent price action.

The recent intraday chart adds context to the support debate. PEPE dipped down to about $0.0000380 and bounced up significantly to $0.0000410. It has since rebounded to approximately $0.00004057, further evidence that resistance remains to hold any headway.

A break above the multi-month trendline would support a further recovery test. Any movement above descending resistance will be added confirmation of improving market structure. In the meantime, the rebound is still susceptible to further selling pressure.

Meanwhile, a major failure of the bulls would cast doubt on the current bull market. Such a move could expose PEPE to further losses and require reassessment of the proposed wave structure. For now, support defense and resistance clearance remain the principal technical tests.

Hedge funds cleared out their AI positions accumulated over the past two years within five trading days. According to Goldman Sachs Prime data, from October 8 to 14, the net selling scale of global AI stocks reached the second highest level in a year, with South Korea triggering a circuit breaker and foreign capital outflows from the Taiwan market hitting a single-day historical record. However, over a three-year period, net AI exposure still sits at the 83rd percentile, and total leverage is close to a five-year peak—this sell-off seems more like a beginning than an end.

Bridgewater on Rising Interest Rates: Not Just Due to Oil Prices, but a Supply-Driven Repricing of Capital Markets

The latest report from Bridgewater reveals that the record-high global bond yields cannot be explained by energy shocks alone. Expanding AI capital expenditures, elevated government spending, and continued central bank balance sheet reduction are jointly driving net asset supply toward its highest level in nearly half a century. The rising cost of capital is quietly spreading to the stock market. Once a chain reaction is triggered, both corporate investment and consumer spending—the two pillars of the US economy—could collapse simultaneously. With the current fiscal deficit already exhausted during prosperous times, the government will have virtually no options left when the crisis hits.
