Smart Finance APP reports that on Monday, after several consecutive days of decline, the U.S. stock market's semiconductor sector rebounded strongly. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, which covers the world's top chip giants such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Micron, surged around 3% at the start of trading. Almost simultaneously with the semiconductor sector's resurgence, Wall Street financial giant Morgan Stanley released a research report on further acceleration in semiconductor equipment spending. This report added fuel to the phase-bottomed rebound momentum for semiconductors, emphasizing that the global semiconductor equipment supply chain, closely linked to worldwide chip manufacturing capacity—including lithography, etching, thin film deposition, CMP, advanced packaging, and process yield monitoring—is still expanding production for a larger AI investment cycle.
