Vortex Energy Gets Approvals And Permits For Planned Ground Gravity Survey at Robinsons River Salt Project

01:31 PM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vortex Energy (VRTX.CN) received the approvals, permits and land access permissions required to begin its planned ground gravity survey at the Robinsons River Salt Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, it said Thursday. The Mineral Lands Division of Newfoundland and Labrador's Department of Energy and Mines approved the proposed geophysical survey program, said the company. The current survey design includes approximately 500 planned measurement stations, with field acquisition estimated to require approximately 22 working days, it said. The company expects the survey to target gaps in existing gravity coverage and areas of exploration interest across the Project, it said. Vortex plans to complete a modeling program after the survey, including three-dimensional gravity inversion and targeted two-dimensional modeling along key seismic profiles near potential drilling locations, it added. "We now have a detailed survey plan that builds directly on the technical work completed at Robinsons River," said Chief Executive Officer Paul Sparkes. "These additional measurements will help us better understand the priority target areas and make more informed decisions about where to focus the next phase of exploration."
