Galaxy Digital CEO: Bitcoin ETF expected to be approved on January 10
Michael Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital, recently gave a detailed explanation of his expectations for the cryptocurrency market and Bitcoin prices in 2023 during an interview with CNBC. In addition, Novogratz expressed confidence in the SEC's imminent approval of a Bitcoin ETF. Novogratz said, "We will launch this ETF before January 10, 2024. This is the last deadline before Gensler gets involved with Grayscale and the lawsuit." It is currently unclear whether Novogratz specifically referred to Grayscale's Bitcoin ETF or any other Bitcoin ETF application submitted by other financial institutions. Meanwhile, Michael Sonnenshein, CEO of Grayscale, stated that the SEC needs to approve Bitcoin ETF applications simultaneously to avoid giving any issuer an early advantage.
