U.S. Treasury Proposes New Cryptocurrency Tax Rules Again
The U.S. is again proposing huge tax rules related to digital assets, including a ban on excise taxes on miners' electricity costs, according to President Joe Biden's plan. The "Book of Skin" 2025 revenue proposal, which outlines the Silicon Valley proposals in Biden's budget released on Monday, is a cryptocurrency-related proposal that was largely requested by the U.S. president in 2023, but repeats that the final proposal did not become law.
