The UK's FTSE 100 Index closed down 5.36 points, or 0.07%, on Wednesday, April 24, at 8039.45 points;
France's CAC40 index closed down 13.92 points, or 0.17%, on Wednesday, April 24, at 8091.86 points;
The European Stoxx 50 Index closed down 19.32 points, or 0.39%, on Wednesday, April 24, at 4988.85 points;
Spain's IBEX35 index closed down 46.90 points, or 0.42%, on Wednesday, April 24, at 11028.50 points;
Italy's FTSE MIB index closed down 98.75 points, or 0.29%, on Wednesday, April 24, at 34265.00 points.
