Uniswap Labs hires former Coinbase executive as Chief Legal Officer
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Uniswap Labs has hired Katherine Minarik, former legal director of Coinbase, as its chief legal officer. Two months before her appointment, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) indicated that it might take legal action against Uniswap Labs for alleged violations of federal securities laws. Minarik previously worked at Coinbase for four years and recently served as deputy general counsel and vice president of legal affairs. She will replace Marvin Ammori, the former chief legal officer of Uniswap Labs. On Monday, Ammori said he plans to switch to part-time work in November.
